Controversial journalist Kemi Olunloyo has stirred up a storm by alleging that popular TikTok creator Peller is under investigation by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) for alleged involvement in internet fraud, commonly known as “yahoo-yahoo.”
In an audio message shared on her social media channels, Olunloyo claimed to have received inside information, reportedly from an FBI source, suggesting that Peller’s past cyber activities are now attracting the attention of Nigerian authorities.
According to Olunloyo, Peller, aged 19, recently admitted during a live session that he had engaged in fraudulent online practices before turning his focus to content creation on social media. This alleged confession has now fueled suspicions, with Olunloyo warning Peller to be careful about what he reveals publicly, stressing that his own words could jeopardize his future. “If you know Peller, please tell him to SFTU. He is about to single-handedly ruin his own future,” she stated, underscoring her belief in the gravity of the situation.
As the claims circulate online, Peller has yet to address the allegations. Meanwhile, the story has ignited discussions across social media, with fans and critics speculating on how these accusations could affect his rising popularity and future as a content creator.
