Euro 2024: Harry Redknapp forecasts a player will clinch Golden Boot over Ronaldo.
Harry Redknapp, ex-manager of Tottenham Hotspur, has forecasted that Bruno Fernandes has the potential to rival Cristiano Ronaldo for the Euro 2024 Golden Boot as his national team captain.

The European championship, set to be held in Germany, is scheduled to begin on June 14.
Ronaldo netted 50 goals in 45 matches for Al-Nassr in the recently finished season, with 35 of those coming in the Saudi Pro League, setting a new record.

The captain of the Portugal national team has been a reliable player for Portugal as well, spearheading the offense in their victorious Euro 2024 qualifying run with a total of 10 goals in nine matches.

Meanwhile, Fernandes scored 15 goals and provided 13 assists in 48 matches for Manchester United in various competitions.

In the Euro 2024 qualifying series, he showcased his talent by scoring six goals and providing seven assists in 10 games.

The ex-Tottenham manager said to BetVictor (via GOAL) that the Al-Nassr striker and his former Manchester United colleague are predicted to shine at Euro 2024.

The former manager stated that Cristiano Ronaldo is currently performing at a slightly higher level while playing in Saudi Arabia, emphasizing his incredible athleticism and excellent physical condition due to his self-care practices.

I foresee him scoring goals in the tournament and leading Portugal far this year.
I believe Bruno Fernandes has the potential to be a great bargain for the Golden Boot prize because he is capable of scoring a lot of goals.

“I think he won’t be the one taking penalties as I believe Ronaldo will be the one, but I would definitely consider him for the Golden Boot if he has a high price.”
Portugal is set to begin their campaign against the Czech Republic on June 18.
